Paso Chico is pretty average for bungalow complexes in Gran Canaria – lounge, kitchen bathroom and bedroom. Nothing really wrong but not the luxury of the Sheraton (LINK). On the plus side it is gay men only so there is (usually) sex on tap and it is literally over the road from the Yumbo which means it can be noisy (from both the road and the centre itself). It is also relatively cheap.

TV is pay-as-you-view but there is a DVD player. The hot water does last for two people to shower, if you’re careful. Kitchen is basically furnished but there is a kettle (some places still only provide a saucepan to boil water).

towels are hand-towel size and green (it matters to some people!)

As for the complex itself there are six bungalows in a row, with a pool. No bar, no reception. These have their own disadvantages as well as advantages. The reception is about 5 minutes walk away. Safes are very big (but you need a key from reception) and should definitely be used as although the complex is reasonably secure there are enough thieves around to put you on your guard.
