L’IMPACT

L’Impact remains one of my favourite bars, anywhere!

It’s very clean, the staff are friendly and they are well organised. Accorinding to the website there is a different theme each night of the week but you’d have difficulty giessing what it was the night you’re there – everyone has to get naked every night anyway. When you arrive you ring the bell and when you are in you are right next to the cashdesk,. Hand over your €12 and you are given a voucher for your free drink, a bag for your clothes and a bracelet with your number against which you charge your drinks. Take off your clothes (excep shoes) and put them in the bag. Take your bag to the far end of the bar and hand it over. Your number will be logged onto the computer and you will be asked for your initials (in case you lose your bracelet). Take your voucher to the other barman and order. Toilets are on the ground floor behind the bar and the darkroom is down the stairs. Glass is not allowed downstairs so ask for your beer in plastic if you intend to drink when downstairs. If not, do not leave your drink unattended – they will remove it immediately as they are worried about drinks being spiked.

NEXT BAR

This was our first visit and we disappointed and delighted it at the same time. We went for the Saturday afternoon underwear (or naked) party and the venue looks great. You hand over your entrance fee (no free drink included) and you are given a padlock with the key on a rope to go round your head. You are also asked for your initials. Full size metal lockers can be found in the middle of the bar or in a little room towards the back on the right. Deposit your clothes and then head for the bar for a drink (as usual drinks are lodged against your number. On the ground floor there is some seating, a small video room, a shower (€2) and toilet. The stairs downstairs are halfway towards the back of the bar on the righthandside. At the bottom turn left for cabins and right for camouflage area, more videos, slings and a bed.

Although the venue looks great when we went there were less than 10 people so we soon got bored and left.

QG BAR

Same set up as L’Impact but less organised but a good bar nonetheless. Ring the bell. Wait. Barman runs from bar to let you in and runs back to bar. Follow him. Give your name and fee (€6), receive bag and order drink (you will probably be interrupted doing this several times by more people arriving). Take drink and bag and get undressed. Hand bag over again (with more disruptions), Sex is downstairs. Corridor with cubicles. Not massive but usually enough going on. Usually well-attended. Regular parties. Website currently not working.
