We tend to avoid packages so arrange our accommodation and flights separately. There are a number of airlines flying to Las Palmas but until now our preferred airline has been BA (via their franchise GB Airways). This franchise has now been sold to easyJet and although we have our flights booked with BA in January and at Easter we’re not sure yet how we will get to GC in the future. Bearing in mind we usually fly Club Europe I’m not sure I could cope with a four hour flight with easyJet.

To avoid hassle at the airport, unless you are hiring a car, it’s best to book a car transfer in advance. We often use this company (LINK).

To get around in general, either use the bus service which is reasonably reliable (remember this is Spain) or the taxis which are very reliable and cheap.
