One of the advantages of Berlin being divided until 1989 is that there are two of everything! So there is a gay scene in the former West and one in the East too. It just makes it a bit diffciult if you want to do bars in both parts in the same evening. Berlin transport, though, is very efficient and runs very late. I usually stay in Schöneberg, near Nollendorfplatz and jump on local transport if I want to venture further afield. Most of the websites that you go to from here are in German but many have English versions as well - click on the Union Flag. If I get round to it I’ll put some helpful German phrases on this site.
